- As a faculty member of UCLA Extension, in Los Angeles, California, Pamela Phillips Oland taught Advanced Lyric Writing for 8 years. Many of her students went on to become successful Music Industry professionals.
- Teaching and lecturing and helping individual songwriters to attain their personal best, including in-depth lyric evaluations, at countless venues over a period of 20 years
